When you buy hydrangeas do they wilt fast? Here are some tips to help these big flowers stay lush and fresh.
1. Cut their stems at a 45 degree angle every few days to prevent their stems from getting clogged. Hydrangeas need lots of water!
2. Dunk the heads in water and shake off. Hydrangeas are one of the few flowers that love being soaked.
3. Keep them away from direct sunlight and heat.
4. Place them in the fridge, but only for at most an hour, to cool off. If you leave it in longer they will turn brown and die.
5. As with all flowers, change the water daily!!!
